With his growing star stature, Bharath has bagged quite a few films. One of them, Azhgai Irukkiari Bhyamai Irukkirathu (AIBI), is produced by Cheran and directed by cinematographer Vijay Milton whose debut directorial venture this is. Milton, apart from wielding the megaphone, also pens the story and screenplay and handles the camera too.

Paired with Bharat is Mumbai model Mallika Kapoor who acted in the Malayalam film 'Albhutha Dweepu'. The supporing cast has Deepu, M S Bhasker, Renuka and Supergood Lakshmanan.

The film was shot at various locations in Ootty, including a tiny village near it. Bharat being a trained dancer, gets to do some challenging dance numbers here. Like the dance competition between him and Ganesh Acharya, popular dancer-choreographer of Hindi films.

While Sridhar choreographs the dances, the songs are set to tune by Yuvan Shankar Raja who sings all the songs here, one of them accompanied by father Ilayaraja. The film has no duets, and the songs are situational.....[ More ]
