Rajni, Kamal in Uday's film!? This can be the ultimate
casting coup. Rajnikanth and Kamal Hassan coming together. Fans
would go in frenzy. And only veteran director K. Balachander can
pull it off.
The veteran director is thinking of bringing the two stars, who
are his protégées, in cameo roles for his current film, Poi
(means Lie), starring Uday Kiran as hero.
The film is produced by actor Prakash Raj, another disciple of
KB's and it marks Uday's foray into Tamil filmdom.
Rajnikanth and Kamal Hassan had attended lauch ceremony of the
film and expressed their wish to act in the movie. The veteran
director now seriously thinking of making their wish a reality.
In the early days of Rajani and Kamal's acting career, they had
acted in many films together but stopped working jointly in the
late 70's.
