After
a roaring success in Thiruda Thirudi, director Subramaniam Siva
is back in Kollywood with Pori starring Jeeva. Jeeva, riding a
new wave of success after Ram and Dishoom, is hopeful that Pori
would repeat the same.
According to Subramaniam Siva, ‘Pori is an action-packed
romantic entertainer. It has got all commercial ingredients
between them. It is the coming together of a couple, who have
different thoughts’.
Produced by Karthick, the highlight of the movie is Dheena’s
music. He had earlier combined with Subramaniam Siva for Thiruda
Thirudi to render Manmadharasa, which topped the audio charts
then. This time around, ‘Vazha Meenukkum’ fame Gana Ulaganathan
is singing a song under his baton. |

Kanal
Kannan’s fights are said to be another highlight. Director
Seeman makes his debut as an actor in the movie. The movie
revolves around Hari (Jeeva), who feels that there is nothing
wrong in telling lies for a good cause but Uma (Pooja) thinks
one should not lie even to his own life.
An ardent follower of Social reformist E V R Periyar, Jeeva runs
a bookshop. When these two people of different attitude and
thoughts meet, what happens forms the story. A major portion of
the shooting is completed and the movie would soon grace
theatres. |
