Arjun hopes to get it right now: After Karna, actor Arjun teams up with director Selvah for his next movie Aanai.

Quite typical of Arjun, Aanai would be an action-packed movie with Arjun flexing his muscles all through. The glam-doll of Kollywood Namitha is cast opposite Arjun and a couple of songs starring Arjun and Namitha have been shot abroad. f

Srinivasan, one of the producers, is very happy and brimming with joy. Simply because the director completed the shooting a day ahead of schedule.

'If actors and technicians are this co-operative no producer will lose money,' he says.

The story deals with the promise that the hero makes, and the trials he undergoes before he could fulfill it.

Noted Malayalam actor Manoj K Jayan plays an important role in the movie and acting opposite him is actress Sanghavi.

Selvah says, 'I share a good rapport with Arjun. Our earlier venture Karna collected a huge revenue at the box office. No doubt, Aanai would recreate the same magic. A dedicated actor, Arjun has given his best for the movie.' Aanai is a perfect cocktail of action, romance and sentiments that is sure to leave an impression among the audience, Selvah says.

Meanwhile, Arjun is slated to begin his next Madarasi, which would be directed by the actor himself. For the movie, Arjun has brought noted Telugu actor Jagapathy Babu to Kollywood. A major portion of the movie would be shot in London.

On his role in Aanai, 'it's after a brief interval that I play such a fiery role. All credit should go to Selvah for it'.
