Devathaiyai Kanden Movie
Review: For the major part of the film it looks like a routine poor
boy-rich girl love story. Beginning from the time when Uma, a
college girl, falls for the simplicity of tea-boy Babu.
There
are the routine scenes of Babu's three friends indulging in
comic antics to attract Uma's attention. It's another matter
that all their antics fall flat, both where Uma is concerned and
the audience too. There are the villains who tease his girl, and
Babu succeeds in bashing them up, despite his wiry frame.
The scenes in the first part are noisy, crude and puts one off.
Dhanush repeats what he's done in his recent releases, his voice

enacting a drama. It's high time he tried some variations in his
voice.... [
